Governor Mike Beebe has declared October 7, 2011 as Arkansas GO PINK FOR THE CURE DAY. He urges all citizens in every community to join him in promoting efforts for the prevention and treatment of breast cancer. Click here to see the 2011 Proclamation declaring Arkansas Go Pink for the Cure day.
By joining together, GO PINK FOR THE CURE DAY will bring about awareness of the importance of mammography and remove barriers that prevent women from seeking mammograms.
